Dr. Mark Mizner
Dr. Mark Mizner is a 1980 graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine. In his 30+ years of practice, he has developed a reputation for putting his patients at ease while delivering high quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Mizner is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association, Academy of Dental Science and several other professional organizations and honor societies. He has been involved with the Yankee Dental Congress since 1985 and has served as Chairman of numerous committees including the prestigious Scientific and Allied Scientific Committees. In 2005, Dr. Mizner was honored with the Massachusetts Dental Society’s Volunteer Hero Award.
Dr. Mizner lives in Weston with his wife Amy and their two daughters Dylan and Jillian. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, scuba diving, music and is an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan.
Dr. Nan Niland
Dr. Niland graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1979 with several honors and induction into OKU National Honor Society. She then completed a general practice dental residency at University of Vermont College of Medicine. She has practiced in the Boston area since 1980 and comes to Commonwealth Dental Group after 23 years with Dedham Medical Associates.
Dr. Niland has earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and of the Massachusetts Dental Society, serving on their mobile van at the Natick Senior Center.
While Dr. Niland enjoys the technical, surgical and esthetic aspects of comprehensive dentistry, she emphasizes the importance of oral health in maintaining overall health.
Dr. Niland lives with her husband Ralph Helmick, a renowned sculptor, at the Claflin School Studios in Newton. She enjoys yoga, tennis, art and travel.
Dr. Hyejin Kwak
Hyejin Kwak D.M.D is originally from South Korea and moved to Victoria, Canada for high school. After completing high school she moved to the States and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Kwak received her D.M.D degree as well as her post-doctoral training in Prosthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Kwak completed the American Board of Prosthodontics Certification Examination and is one of fewer than 50 American Board Certified Prosthodontists in Massachusetts. She is an assistant clinical professor in Postgraduate Prosthodontics Program at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kwak is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
